Travel Grants

10 Travel awards for trainees that participate in International Congress of Andrology will be provided by ISA (International Society of Andrology). Trainee is defined as a student pursuing a graduate degree (MS, PhD or MD). Proof of status needs to be provided by the applicant.

The awards will cover costs to attend the meeting at a maximum amount of 850€ for European applicants and 1200€ for applicants from other regions.

To be eligible for a travel award the applicant must:
1.    be the presenting author;
2.    a trainee;
3.    provide a letter from their mentor confirming trainee status and financial need to attend the meeting, and
4.    provide a short (maximum 200 word) summary of the trainee’s career plans.
5.    provide the confirmation mail received from the ICA2017 secretariat that the abstract has been uploaded at the ICA2017 web-site.

Travel awards will be given to trainees based on merit of the abstract and their early career. The amount is given as a re-imbursement of receipts for travel/accommodation in the context of ICA2017. Awardees will be notified shortly after abstract deadline.

Applications – including abstract and information as stated above - have to be submitted to the ISA secretary by e-mail before deadline of abstract submission (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.). The ISA board renders the decision on travel grants.

IMPORTANT: In addition to submitting the application and documentation to the ISA secretary the applicant also has to submit the manuscript directly to the congress via the abstract submission sub-menu and register for participation in the congress.
